Andrea Levy, chairman of the Turin Parco Valentino Auto Show, illustrated the 2017 edition – which will take place from June 7 to 11 – saying that the heart of the outdoor exhibition of previews and novelties on the market will still be in Parco Valentino. However, dynamic new expositions will appear in squares and Savoy Residences that will become prestigious venues for supercars, electric cars, and the latest car with assisted driving devices. A program appreciated by the automotive brands that confirmed their important presence at our Show, and that will certainly thrill the 800,000 visitors expected to arrive in the city for those days. The following a taste of the many events planned.
On the inauguration day, June 7, Castello del Valentino’s courtyard will turn red to celebrate Ferrari 70th anniversary. While on June 10, a special setting will tell the history of Volvo, which opened in Sweden on April 14, 1927, and is, thus, celebrating its 90th anniversary. On the same day, supercars, prototypes, one-off and currently available models of electric cars and cars with assisted driving devices will take part in Grand Prix parade, which includes the traditional exhibition in Piazza Vittorio Veneto.
On June 9th, cars from all over Europe will participate in the traditional event that the international network Cars & Coffee organizes in Turin for collectors: supercars, prototypes, one-offs and limited edition will meet in the Valentine’s Courtyard. In Piazza San Carlo, on June 10 and 11, the focus will be on the new electric and hybrid plug-in engines, including many models of the Tesla Club Italy. On the program of June 11, there is the first edition of a major rally of American cars, the US Cars Meeting.
