Torre di Cala Piccola – on the extreme tip of Argentario, overlooking the sea in front of Isola del Giglio and Giannutri – is a luxury hotel recently added to the prestigious Condé Nast circuit.
The facility is located along one of the most fascinating coastal stretches of the area, at one hundred meters above sea level, with a 360-degree panoramic view of the Cala’s cliffs, the sea and the islands. In the center there is the ancient Saracen Tower, after which the hotel is named, and that once was a lookout for pirates who infested the Mediterranean Sea. One of the hotel’s most exclusive services is the freshwater infinity pool with panoramic view, where to swim in the open air under the clear Argentario sky, without being able to tell where the tub ends and where the sea begins.
For those who prefer salt water, a few steps away from the Tower there is a cove with access exclusively reserved to guests. The cove is in one of the most beautiful bays of the coast, Cala Piatti, famous for the red coral tunnel crossing all the shallows at a depth of thirty meters, a desired destination for all diving enthusiasts.
Torre di Cala Piccola’s rooms and suites stand out for the elegant furnishings, the private atmosphere and the attention to details, with a rich offer ranging from standard rooms to the Luxury Terrace Suite for the most demanding guests, with porcelain stoneware floors and a warm palette of colors ranging from dove-color to cream. However, what all the solutions have in common is the breathtaking view.
La Torre d’Argento is the famous restaurant of the hotel, a place where Tuscan and Mediterranean flavors are reinvented, mixing them with exotic and unexpected ingredients. Chef Salvatore Cioce chooses only top quality ingredients for the preparation of his dishes, like fresh local fish and local seasonal vegetables. Each product, from fresh pasta to ice cream, is specially handmade to give even to the most innovative recipes an artisan touch.
Hotel Torre di Cala Piccola is open until October and offers special packages for the low season.
