Heinz Beck, the German chef holder of five Michelin stars, with this new restaurant venture is in his eighth experience outside La Pergola restaurant of the five-star hotel Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria in Rome, where he achieved his fame. The other restaurants with which he is associated are: “Heinz Beck Seasons at Ristorante Castello di Fighine” (San Casciano dei Bagni) and “Café Les Paillotes” (Pescara) in Italy, “Gusto by Heinz Beck” (Algarve) in Portugal, “Heinz Beck” and “Sensi by Heinz Beck” (Tokyo) in Japan and “Social Heinz Beck” and the casual restaurant concept “Taste of Italy” in Dubai. He is also in partnerships with Mercedes Benz and De Cecco pasta sauces.
On the other side of this new collaboration, there is Chef Express, the catering subsidiary of the Cremonini Group, that takes into the deal its important experience in concession catering with 71 other venues run in the top ten Italian airports and 144 points of sale in 48 Italian railway stations.
The new restaurant “Attimi by Heinz Beck” is situate in the Extra Schengen food court inside the new Section E of Terminal 3 that opened just before Christmas. The project designed by the Studio Iosa Ghini develops on an area of 260 square metres and will be able to accommodate 70 guests. It will employ 50 members of staff and it will be based on timed menues of 30, 45 and 60 minutes depending on how much time customers have to eat before boarding.
