“New Shapes of Made in Italy” is the title of the exhibition of design accessories, decorative objects and furniture organized by Open Design Italy that will open in the German capital on January 9, where it will remain until February 3.
The exhibition proposes the works of fifteen of the designers who participated in the six editions of the event and that best represent the theme of preciousness, intended as talented know-how and research of new combinations of materials and contexts in which they are used. Others works were chosen because they reinterpret or represent symbols of the Made in Italy culture.
The exhibition is an important international showcase for the young Italian creatives that have been awarded important prizes. It is the opportunity to highlight an entrepreneurship that starts from designers as director of a production cycle that strives to be sustainable while being the meeting point between the worlds of design and the traditional enterprise.
The selected young designers are: Arago Design, Art, Arturonoce, Federica Bubani, Caracol Design Studio, Emmedi.design, Franco Catalini, Massimo Marcelli, Peralia, Tania Marta Pezzuolo, Re-find, Sotteranea Experimental Workshop, Type 00 design, Urge Design, Woodart Km Zero.
