A large home in the heart of Venice. An open space, where to rest, work and build relationships; a place through which is possible to fully take part in the life of one of the most beautiful city in the world. An apartment with a specifically tailored design that welcomes travelers with the all the comforts of a boutique hotel and that grants, at the same time, the independence and freedom of your own home. Casa Flora is a hospitality project created by Gioele Romanelli, owner of Hotel Flora, carried out in partnership with Diego Paccagnella, creative director and founder of Design-Apart.
More than 20 Italian companies got involved to produce unique items in order to create an equally unique atmosphere. A distinctive feature of Casa Flora is the natural look that pervades the whole apartment. The colors are the ones of the lagoon – shades of pink, green, yellow and blue – and light frames the space of the living and social area of the apartment, which is perfect for sharing meals prepared in the island kitchen in the center of Casa Flora. The bedrooms focus on the wellbeing of the guests: in each room there is a reading corner and a SPA area in a large bathroom designed as a small greenhouse where to relax – as if it was a natural extension of the garden of the Hotel Flora onto which Casa Flora overlooks.
Many are the typical Venetian elements revisited for Casa Flora by architect Matteo Ghidoni and interior designer Laura Sari Reveria, like the grit of the sinks, the green stone used for the kitchen top, the fabrics and the handcrafted accessories from Murano. Moreover, many of the special items that were especially designed and created by the best craftsmen of the area can be purchased online.
Casa Flora offers its guests a unique experience to discover places, meet people and experience the city in a different way, as only a Venetian or who really loves Venice you can do.
